The news for today is that I can now present my homepage in English!
In addition this article is about a beautiful kind of photography. To draw with color and light inspired by impressionism, to deliberately use blurring and overlaying, opens up new horizons.
During my vacation, I was inspired by my muse to work on a project I have been interested in for some time. Cyanotype is one of the oldest photographic processes and relatively simple to implement. And it’s great fun, too!

An exceptionally unusual year is drawing to its close today.

I would like to share last Saturday with you and tell you about my experiences of the “Schätze des Westens” (Treasures of the West) day in Stuttgart. The day itself as well as the preparation beforehand were once again a valuable experience for me.

On Saturday, September 25, 2020, I will be exhibiting 16 works of art entitled “Wellengang - stürmische Zeiten” (Waves – stormy times) in the nannatextiles studio at Claudiusstraße 10 (courtyard) in Stuttgart. My short impromptu talk is my way of sharing my photography with you. Familiar and unfamiliar items will be available for purchase.
In the spring of this year I was commissioned to be the photographer at an artistic event This included works from the fields of ceramics, textiles and art as well as impromptu talks by various participating female artists. Take a look at some of the impressions here and follow me through my day.
At the end of March, I went to London for a few days. It was a fantastic time full of lots of visual impressions. I’ve now had a chance to view and edit the pictures. You’re not going to find typical snapshots here. Instead, a few fine details and a short account.
This is no April fool. Today AESTHET.IST is going online for the first time. A reason to celebrate! Now I know that the sleepless nights and hard-working weekends were all worth it.
